What system does P&R
Heating use? P&R Heating uses the “Push-Pull Method
of Source Removal Duct Cleaning”. Instead of using a filtered portable duct cleaning vacuum
inside your home, we use “External Extraction”. This is a process where we use larger, more
powerful, truck mounted equipment to perform your cleaning.
Some duct cleaning companies use a low power, portable vacuum or a vacuum system designed for
carpet cleaning, mounted in a van. These methods use only a two or three inch hose and do not have
enough power or air movement to provide a thorough cleaning when compared to our 8" hose and
push/pull cleaning system.

How Does P&R
Heating Clean Air
Ducts? We attach an eight inch hose
rom the main supply and return ducts in your
home or business HVAC system to our powerful truck
mounted cleaning equipment.
Once we have hooked our push and pull hoses up, our staff close off vents to
direct air flow and then “Power Brush” the dirt from each vent to the main supply duct. We follow
the brushing with compressed air to get even the most minute particles cleaned out of both the
supply and return air sides of the system. This ensures that physical contact takes place between
the "brush system" and the duct wall, knocking off the dirt in addition to vacuuming alone.
Then with powerful compressed air equipment, brushes and contact vacuuming, we clean the main duct
supply and return sides where the dirt, dust and allergens are sucked out of your home.
Our staff will also air clean and vacuum the furnace blower motor fan and (when possible), the
evaporator coil on your air conditioning system as well as provide inspection services if
desired.
Breath clean. . . live clean!
